About the Big Pig Gig

What is The Big Pig Gig? It is a music festival and Kansas City BBQ contest which is FREE to attend and open to the public. Menomonee Falls has been selected as one of the 200 sites across the United States to host this celebration.

In fact, the Wisconsin Department of Tourism has provided a grant to support this event! The State of Wisconsin and Governor Doyle have also designated this BBQ as the Wisconsin State Championship competition.

In conjunction with the contest itself, this is a family oriented weekend. Activities and events throughout the weekend include: Glen Gerard Magic shows, Celebrity Rib Eating Contests, Strolling Magicians and much more.

In the evening we are very proud to present some outstanding musical talent including two national acts. Keep your eye on this site as we hammer down our entertainment and get it posted.

The best news...The Big Pig Gig helps to support many of the non-profit groups and service organizations in the area such as Rotary, Kiwanis, Youth Leadership, Little League, Lions, School sports teams, The Hope Network and many others. Proceeds benefit not only the community directly, but all of these groups, so that they can continue their effortsto contribute to our village.
